Join Rabbi Jason Rodich and a group of 25 young adults for five evenings of Jewish learning, dinner, conversation, and community-building at Temple Israel—followed by a week together in Berlin.
No prior Jewish learning is needed.

6:00-8:00 p.m.
From January through May 2027, we will dive deeper into Jewish life with sessions focusing on topics ranging from Talmud to Jewish mysticism to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We welcome and encourage a diversity of viewpoints.
TRAVEL
June 6-13, 2027
In June, we will travel to Berlin with Germany Close Up to explore Germany’s history and contemporary life. We will meet with political and religious leaders, activists, and community organizations, including Germans confronting the rise of right-wing German nationalism today, including antisemitism.
ELIGIBILITY
For Jewish young adults ages 22–39
You are eligible if you are between 22 and 39 years of age, live in the Twin Cities, are Jewish according to Reform movement standards (have one Jewish parent of any gender, or will have converted by May 2027), and are a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Temple Israel members have priority, but non-members are also encouraged to apply.
THE FINE PRINT
Participation: $1,050
Includes airfare, hotel, tours, learning sessions and dinners at Temple Israel, and most meals in Germany. Limited additional scholarships are available.
