Register to Attend Part IV: A Community Conversation

This guided community dialogue is designed to help us listen, reflect, and connect across differences. Whether or not you attended previous sessions, all are welcome.

This facilitated conversation will offer a supportive structure to help participants engage with one another respectfully and meaningfully. Through small-group dialogue, reflection prompts, and simple tools for listening across differences, we’ll practice conversation that encourages curiosity rather than debate with opportunities to reflect on our own experiences while learning from one another.

You don’t need prior knowledge or polished views - just an open heart and a willingness to engage. This session is in-person only.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Over the first three sessions, Rabbi Zimmerman hosted a series of interviews with diverse thought leaders offering different perspectives on Israel and our experiences with antisemitism.

Holidays on Hennepin

Wednesday, December 17, 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Temple Israel Parking Lot

Temple Israel is excited to participate in this year’s Holidays on Hennepin, a celebration that brings the joy of Chanukah to the Hennepin Avenue corridor. With support from the city of Minneapolis, neighborhood organizations, and local businesses, this initiative brings people together and highlights the vibrancy of our Uptown community.

Enjoy:

  • A Chanukah treat

  • A chance to tour a bus and talk with a Metro Transit Commission representative in celebration of the new bus line opening

  • Time to mingle with neighbors and community partners

  • A special candle lighting at 6:00 p.m. with songs and blessings for the fourth night of Chanukah

We welcome everyone to join us — whether you are already enjoying Holidays on Hennepin or simply looking for a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the season. Walk over, stop by, and be part of the festivities at Temple Israel.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect and support the renewed energy along Hennepin Avenue.
