TEMPLE ISRAEL SPEAKER SERIES
Holding the Tension: Israel & Antisemitism
Four Sessions | Thoughtful Conversations | Shared Reflection
Temple Israel invites you to a unique four-part learning series that embraces the complexity of our Jewish lives today since October 7 and its aftermath. Through dynamic conversations and shared learning, we will explore the tensions and contradictions that shape our relationships with Judaism, Israel, and one another.
Over the first three sessions, Rabbi Zimmerman will host a series of interviews with diverse thought leaders offering different perspectives on Israel and our experiences with antisemitism. The final session will bring the community together for a facilitated reflection and dialogue.
Part III
10:30 a.m. Yossi Klein Halevi

Register to attend A Conversation with Yossi Klein Halevi.
Join Rabbi Zimmerman for a conversation with Ilan Goldenberg, Senior Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at J Street. Goldenberg will provide an up-to-the minute analysis of events in and around Israel from a liberal perspective: one that takes into account Israeli security needs, Jewish values, and the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Goldenberg is a seasoned expert on Israel, Palestine, Iran and its proxies and has been a Middle East policy advisor to political leaders. The program will start with a discussion with Rabbi Zimmerman, then proceed to a curated Q&A with the audience.
Part IV will be announced soon.
