Please also note that with the rising costs of keeping our community safe and secure, Temple Israel membership contributes to safety and security. To share the responsibility of keeping all our campers safe, there is a $72 charge per camper per session for all TEKO camper families who are not members of Temple Israel. We appreciate your support in keeping our community safe.

All may apply starting Thursday, January 11, 2023, however, Temple Israel members who complete their application between January 11th and January 17th will receive priority placement. Beginning Wednesday, January 17, all applicants will be placed according to availability.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

K - 6 Programs
TEKO welcomes campers entering Kindergarten through 6th grade to our Monday through Friday day camp program. Campers will arrive at TEKO in the morning after a bus ride from one of our west metro pickup locations, greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff who will ensure campers are welcomed from the moment they arrive. Throughout the day, campers will be supported by friendly and enthusiastic staff that stick with their groups, ensuring that they are able to experience all that TEKO has to offer.

TEKO Overnight

Camp TEKO will have three one night overnights for campers in Grades 5-8 during Summer 2024. After the buses leave, camp is all theirs. Campers will have afternoon and evening activities at their favorite rotations at camp and will participate in a camp-wide game to end the day. Once the sun goes down, the bonfire will be lit for gathering, songs, s’mores, and star gazing. In the morning, campers will get a tasty breakfast to lead them into a regularly scheduled Friday programming and bus cup.

High School Programs
Limud: The Kris & John MacDonald TEKO Leadership Initiative

Limud is a leadership program for students Avodah (entering 9th) and Machon (10th grade) who desire to build lasting friendships while developing the skills needed to be a TEKO Staff member in the future and will engage in extensive training in leadership skills, communication, and community organizing. All Limud participants are selected through the TEKO Camper application as well as an interview process for appropriate placement.

Participants of the Limud program will receive a $150 bonus when they return as staff (multiplied for each year they participated in the Limud program).
