9:00 a.m. Tot - 2nd Grade Tashlich Service *NEW*
11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. All Ages Tashlich Service
On the South Side of Lake of the Isles on the Bridge
On Rosh HaShanah, it is customary to go to a
flowing body of water and symbolically cast our sins
away by throwing bread crumbs, sticks or rocks into
the water. The ceremony provides us with an
opportunity to meditate on the times during the past
year at which we have missed the mark and rid
ourselves of those imperfections through this
symbolic act.
Please join us for a brief Tashlich service at the
bridge on the south side of Lake of the Isles (where
East Lake of the Isles Parkway meets East Calhoun
Parkway, one block north of "The Mall"/West 29th
Street.) The Tashlich service is geared towards
families; however all are invited to attend.
