Support Temple’s Homeless Shelter

Temple is hosting up to four homeless families for two weeks starting this Sunday. We need your help to make our guests feel welcome and cared for during their time at Temple. You can participate in this mitzvah by providing essential items needed for their stay.

Donation drop-off times are:
Wednesday, February 1, 4:00 - 5:45 p.m.
Friday, February 3, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 5, 12:00 - 4:30 p.m.
A volunteer will be in the Temple lobby to accept donations.

Beineinu, Our Caring Community

Walk in the door of Temple and you can feel it…we are much more than a congregation…we are a community. But did you know there is a dedicated Temple program to help ensure that we are there for each other when we need it most? Temple’s Beineinu program allows congregants to support each other in times of celebration and in times of need.

Beineinu volunteers:

• Comfort congregants who have recently lost a loved one.
• Provide baby baskets for newborns and their families.
• Visit elderly congregants who are in nursing care facilities or homebound.
• Send care packages to college students throughout the year.
• Bring meals to congregants during a time of need.
• Offer transportation to medical appointments and Temple Israel.
